Now that's a Close [and Passive] Encounter
The 21st century has provided us with more and more non-confrontational mechanisms of communication. Harboring and promoting passive-aggressiveness is a trademark of e-mail, blogging [ahem...this post], MSN, AOL, facebook, text messaging, and--perhaps the most irritating means of making a point ever--G-chat status updates.
Conventional wisdom says that technology has empowered us. But has it also made us a bunch of wusses?

I agree, all this technology has enabled us to be big wusses. All too often the internet replaces actual human contact. People who have no problem chatting online but can't seem to handle actually talking or interacting on a human level are really starting to get on my nerves...think I'll go write a cranky blog post about it...
though now you are held responsible for all comments made as people have documented proof of your feelings/thoughts. Thus making us not so wussy, a little bit.
it may be old school, but i prefer the post-it
Oh, the irony.

You've managed to say what I wrote a column about just as well if not better in about five sentences. Congrats.
